Lieutenant Michael Borrelli With a combined 17yrs of fire service, 10 of them with the WFD, Veteran Lt. Michael Borrelli holds a multitude of certifications to include: FE,FF 2< CPR instructor, AVET, POI, PO 1, FO 2, EVOC, FI, FP, Hazmat, Blood Born pathogens, and EMT. Michael continues to update his fire/ems training every year, with both practical and online classes in order to bring professionalism to his department, and the community in which he serves. Michael enjoys hunting outdoor activities, spending time with his fire dept. members, and most importantly, spending time with his family. Michael also serves on several committees with the dept., as well as an active member the community awareness and recruitment program.

Lieutenant Benjamin Flugel Lt Flugel began his FF career in 2010 and is now entering his 10th year of service with the WFD. Flugel’s accomplishments include FF 1, FP, CPR, Pump Ops, EVOC, HazMat, Ice/Cold water rescue training, Crash/Extrication course, and Fire Police. Flugel has held many positions within the WFD to include FF, CFR/Medic, Vice President, BOD board member, Dist. Quarter Master, and currently lieutenant for his 2nd year. Flugel enjoys hunting/fishing, and a multitude of outdoor activities, along with continuing his Fire Fighting and EMS education/training so he may bring the community in which he serves, the professionalism they expect. Flugel can be found on most evenings at the WFD fire station, checking equipment and the apparatus, or simply honing his FF skill and knowledge so he may keep his subordinates safe while performing their duties. Flugel is proud to serve his community.

Christopher Flugel President Flugel, twin brother to Lt Flugel, has also proudly served the WFD and his community for the past 10yrs with honor. Christopher has held many rolls and a long list of training accomplishments within the WFD and the HMW FD. Christopher has held the following positions, FF, BOD member, Head of the Jr FF program, Vice President, and currently serving his 5th year as President. Christopher's training record includes FF 1, FP, CPR, Pump Ops, EVOC, HazMat, Ice/Cold water rescue training, and crash/Extrication class. Christopher also enjoys hunting/fishing and a variety of sportsman activities. Christopher continues to engage in Fire and EMS training, so he can serve his community and his FF comrades with pride, dedication, professionalism, pride, and heart.

Edward Flugel Hello. I've been with the Walker FD since February 2014. I am in my first year as Vice President. In previous years I held a board seat. Currently I am a Lt. in the HMW Fire Police. I'm also Vice President of Monroe County Fire Police Battalion 2 and I try to keep snow and ice away from the doors during the winter.

Secretary

Michelle Johnson Johnson is a graduate from Hilton High. Graduated with honors from MCC. Started as an explorer in 1982 and was chief of the explorers from 1985-1986. Soon after then joined the Ladies Auxiliary. She has held the titles of Secretary, Vice President and now President of the Ladies Auxiliary for 20 years. Johnson, has been and is Secretary of the Hilton Parma Fire Commission for 23 years. She is the Chairperson of the Easter Egg Hunt, Claus and Cookies, and for the Apple Fest Pie Booth for the Walker Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliary. She is Co-Chair for the Chicken BBQ, Clam, and Steak Roast Committees for the Walker Fire Department. Johnson is the Senior Citizens Coordinator for the Town of Hamlin since 2013. She is Social Member of the Walker Fire Department since 2018. Where then she became the Secretary and Deputy Treasurer. She has prided herself on being a volunteer to her community since she was a child.
